I used a Spektrum AR9000 for guidance. The Castle Creations BEC and a Thunder Power lipo send 6 volts to the Hitec servos. You can also see the heavy duty pushrods which actuate the tail surfaces. Kudos Kyosho for a well thought out design!

I used a KMS 4120/06 outrunner coupled to a Castle Creations Phoenix 80 ESC. A 5s 5000mah pack supplies the "juice". This setup produces in excess of 1.5hp on a 6.3lb model. :-)
